I guess this is moot now because you said in a sibling thread that
4.4.1 works OK for you.

Some additional information for you if your setup hangs when
booting. It's normally helpful to get hypversior log out of serial as
well. To do that have a look at:

http://wiki.xenproject.org/wiki/Xen_Serial_Console

and remember to use the highest log level.
