Normally you'd use the ++ operator when incrementing by one, but that doesn't work as intended unless written as (*sp_count)++. I prefer using a local variable and updating *sp_count with a normal assignment when the loop is done. If you agree, please update ffa_get_vm_partinfo() too since it has the same pattern.
