Re: [Xen-devel] xm/xl shutdown does not work with HVM guest




Well -- We are using SuSE and don't want to build Xen ourself and SuSE's 11 SP3 pack has  Xen 4.2.2.

But what about 'xm trigger <vm> power'. That too didn't work with xen_platform_pci=0. So I don't think it's a xl(1) bug.

Oh, please don't top-post and please do use the latest version of Xen.

As I mentioned earlier - you might be hitting a bug in 'xl'. Hence
please use the latest version so that we can vet whether indeed this
is a bug when doing 'xl trigger'.
