I think it's related to the bridge network setting. I searched online and still have no idea about it.

Although this against official advice, I find the old network bridge script works just fine, so I slip it into xencommons like so
...

do_start () {
/etc/xen/scripts/network-bridge start
 

just run it manually (as root) if you want to see if it helps.
