Re: [Xen-users] Nvidia Quadro VGA passthrough experience.

Hi,

Passing through GTX 460 and GTX 560 is about the same, so I am quite sure you are able to help.

May I know whose tutorial did you follow and whose patches did you use in passing through your GTX 460?

I can be contacted at +65-9323-5112.

Thank you very much.

Teo,

I do not have experience with the 560. I have managed to pass the 480 through to windows XP.

I will be trying the Quadro soon, once I get it.

Sandi

Hello,

I am trying to decide between Nvidia's Quadro range of video cards and ATI's mainstream video card for my VGA passthough setup.

I have managed to get a mainstream Nvidia (GTX 460) passed through to a VM, but it is a complex process and it does not work as I would like it to work (not possible to reboot windows domU's).

I would like to hear from anyone who has successfully passed a Quadro graphics card (ones that support virtualization) to a windows OS (preferably Windows 7), and what problems or issues they have encountered.

Thanks

Best regards

Sandi

Can you help me passthrough my GTX 560? I am willing to pay USD$100 to anyone who can solve my Xen VGA Passthrough problem.

Thank you.
