Yes I'm using GPLPV. I remmeber that things worked ok before installing GPLPV (i think I remmeber...) But as I said I have another dom0 on which it works as expected (earlier version GPLPV and earlier version of xen and kernel stuffs... but still 3.2.1). This would suggest lastest version of GPLPV drivers breaks things with hot block attachement? If Anyone what's to share version number and experience relative to this issue... could be helpful. Later versions of Xen allow qemu to disable the emulated harddisks but leave the emulated cdrom which allows things to work a lot better.
