Thanks for response. I don't have regular (non-RAID) controller so I can't verify whether it works or not. Also I was not able to find IOMMU option in the BIOS. Below is excerpt from dmesg of regular kernel shipped with Debian Etch (2.6.15-1). When I boot XEN-enabled kernel (2.6.16) it stops after the first 2 lines and does not get to the probe phase. Same situation with Adaptec RAID card (aacraid). I tried non-PAE Xen and kernel - no difference at this point so I assume it has something to do with Xen. I am totally puzzled. megaraid cmm: 2.20.2.6 (Release Date: Mon Mar 7 00:01:03 EST 2005) megaraid: 2.20.4.6 (Release Date: Mon Mar 07 12:27:22 EST 2005) megaraid: probe new device 0x1000:0x1960:0x1000:0x0520: bus 10:slot 3:func 0 megaraid: fw version:[1L37] bios version:[G119] Ernst Bachmann wrote: > On Tuesday 09 May 2006 00:50, Yura Pismerov wrote: > >> I have a Quad Opteron machine (Tyan mobo) with 32GB RAM and I can't >> to get it to work with a PCI RAID card. >> I try it with Xen 3.0.2 (built from the source).
