Hi, Alex, I didn't observe same phenomenon as yours, though network output of VTI is slowed down by about 80% when domU is doing network at same time. The possible cause for the slowdown may be from that netback occupies too much time which consequently reduces cycles for qemu process and thus VTI network is affected a lot. When you say "blocked" state, does it mean "-b----" by xm list or the network process is blocked? The first is always possible since VTI domain needs to block for qemu emulation. If the second..., how many processors have your box been configured? If domU and domVTI are running on same processor, above slowdown may be worse since I made test on a 4-P box with dom0/domU/domVTI running invidually.
