I am really perplexed. I just booted 4.1.2 + 3.2.9 and 3.2.0 and I had no 
trouble.
Can you send me your .config file please?

Oh wait, I am building 64-bit, you are doing 32-bit. Is your hypervisor 32-bit 
or
64-bit?
