Hi, I'm seeing the following error message when trying to start an HVM domain on x86_64 using today's xen-unstable.hg and qemu-xen-unstable.git. Started domain debian (id=44) xenconsole: Could not read tty from store: No such file or directory (Yes, I've tried different combinations 44 times :-) Here is my test matrix: | xen-unstable.hg | xen-unstable.hg | 19355:0e1449d6f231 | 19375:92a6cc5eae2e ----------------------+--------------------+---------------------- qemu-xen-unstable.git | | fails 5725fa0e7f4ee77875d9 | not tested | as cd64fe0ccae7a3a449e2 | | described (current HEAD) | | above ----------------------+--------------------+---------------------- qemu-xen-unstable.git | | 82787c6f689d869ad349 | ok | ok df83ec3f58702afe00fe | | | | ----------------------+--------------------+---------------------- I tried doing a bisection on qemu-xen-unstable.git and testing several more recent revisions. But every revision that I tested either failed to build or was broken in some way other than the error described above - all merging-related issues I assume. Let me know what if any logs or further testing would be helpful. For completeness, the subjects of the commits discussed above are: * xen-unstable.hg - 19375:92a6cc5eae2e Revert debugging patch c/s 19344 - 19355:0e1449d6f231 xenpm: Add CPU topology info (thread/core/socket) * qemu-xen-unstable.git - 5725fa0e7f4ee77875d9cd64fe0ccae7a3a449e2 (current HEAD) Add missing #include <assert.h> - 82787c6f689d869ad349df83ec3f58702afe00fe Override default cache mode for disk images to write-back -- Simon Horman VA Linux Systems Japan K.K., Sydney, Australia Satellite Office H: www.vergenet.net/~horms/ W: www.valinux.co.jp/en _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
