[Xen-devel] Soft off from Dom0 - Safe?

Hi,
 
I am newbie to Xen and I would be glad if some one sheds some light on this
 
As DOM0 can have direct access to the hardware, it can do a soft off by writing to the power management registers without letting the hypervisor knowing this.
I think this is unsafe. Also consider the case of dom0 issuing a suspend.
 
Please correct me if my understanding was wrong.
