Native Linux, when compiled with local APIC support on uniprocessors, actually 
says:

[4294667.296000] Local APIC disabled by BIOS -- you can enable it with "lapic"

There is no option in the BIOS that I can see to reenable it. It may, of course,
be disabled by the BIOS because it is buggy :)

Does Xen already contain code to enable a local APIC which has been disabled by
the BIOS, or is it perhaps trying to talk to my APIC without enabling it first?
