Doesn't appear to be a large community using xcp-xapi on Debian. I am struggling through it on a test system, and am using xm/xl toolstacks on production systems. For the console input issue, you can run vnc-viewer locally, or remotely with port-forwarding. A security feature does not allow remote vnc connections. The abend issue was patched by Citrix, but the patch doesn't seem to have made it into our distro. The alternative is to use the GPLPV drivers instead, which do work well. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Pridt" <p.pridt@xxxxxxxxx> To: xen-api@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, May 16, 2013 11:02:49 AM Subject: [Xen-API] Xen-api/Debian 7 - conversion and xs-tools Hi, I am trying to implement xcp-xapi on Debian 7. Linux vms run perfectly. With Windows, however, I have numerious problems: - no console-communication in Xencenter or OpenXenManager (no input accepted) after basic installation of Windows - vms with xs-tools installed abend immediately (all versions tried: 5.9.0, 6.0, 6.1, exported from citrix xenserver) I did not find any documentation on how to do p2v coversion. Thank you for any help Paul _______________________________________________ Xen-api mailing list Xen-api@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xen.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xen-api _______________________________________________ Xen-api mailing list Xen-api@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xen.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xen-api
