[Xen-API] what has happened when I change vm's cpu core

Hello, all

I am using xcp 1.5 from project Kronos. I was wondering what has happened when I change vm's cpu cores. If vm are busy in some apps, will modification of CPU cores affect vm's operation or will apps suspend ?

I install xcp on Ubuntu 12.04 64-bits server.
