Hi guys, here is a problem: XCP host: Xen Cloud Platform 1.0 XCP guest: Scientific Linux 6.3 (RHEL based distro, pretty much the same as CentOS) Reproduction: 1.) Linux guest with 2.6.32-279.22.1.el6.i686 kernel - VM boots, reboots, no freezing, everything works as expected. 2.) After doing the recent 'yum update' inside the VM, kernel gets updated to 2.6.32-358.2.1.el6.i686 version. 3.) Then after reboot, the guest is unable to start. VNC console shows only blank blinking cursor and xentop says the VM is constantly in the "r" state: vm_test - - - - - r GRUB itself loads just fine, when selecting options to boot with older kernels I actually can get inside the virtual machine. It somehow has a problem with this new one only. Any ideas? Or has anyone stumbled upon something similar? Thanks in advance. Best regards, Daniel. _______________________________________________ Xen-api mailing list Xen-api@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xen.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/xen-api
