I think Chris may have got things a bit backwards.
From his needs, I think he means Citrix XenApp (MetaFrame) server.

XCP/Xenserver is "hardware virtualization".
XenApp is "desktop virtualization".

You can't use XCP for desktop virtualization. (But you can use XCP
for a virtual machine that runs XenApp)
