[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] Re: [Xen-API] Announcing XenMaster
It's great to see more projects using the XenAPI (and nice to get the demo at FOSDEM too!). One thing that would make this UI really compelling is to move away from the server-side component and see if it can be made completely AJAX, perhaps using HTML5 local storage to cache events from the pool. The existing developer Javascript console is a good example of how something more real could work that way. As for the points about licensing; honestly, just BSD-license it, and people who want to contribute back, will. The GPL and the web don't really work out too well together. See this for example of what other webby OSS projects do: http://ostatic.com/blog/the-top-licenses-on-github -anil _______________________________________________ xen-api mailing list xen-api@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/mailman/listinfo/xen-api
