Re: [win-pv-devel] More Win PV drivers ?

Hello.

Is there (or preparing) new PVUSB driver for Win (to match improvements in

And PVSND/PVAUDIO, PVSCSI, PVSTAT ... for xen4.9 ?

There are no concrete plans for any new PV frontends. I am interested in PVSCSI as I think it will allow a more streamlined data-path for Windows.

Good news.

I'm not sure that PVUSB will even be possible in Windows given the closed nature of Microsoft's kernel APIs for USB.

Bad news (but M$ happens). Ok, I will try to use xhci over qemu (uhci/ehci generate big load and deliver low performance).
And what about PVUSB as "VHCI/stubdriver" like http://usbip.sourceforge.net/ ?

but PV stats is my proposal anyway so I do aim to get code in for that... but probably not in the Xen 4.9 time-frame.

:-)
