No. This is nothing to do with XenServer or Citrix. This is my choice as 
community lead of the Xen Project PV drivers.

It is my intention that the 8.2 drivers will continue to support Vista/2K8, 
Win7 and 2K8R2 and will receive maintenance (i.e. bug fixes) until those OS are 
out of support by Microsoft. Development of new features will however be done 
on the master branch.
