Re: error: not xen image / you need to load the kernel first



I see this error message whenever the server is booting and when I run the console command on the server.

I found the following issue with Ubuntu 20.04 for lz4 compressed kernels. After manually extracting the kernel as suggested here I could now successfully boot with the new kernel:

Where are you seeing this error message? I don't see either of those strings anywhere in the xen.git tree.
