[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-users] [BUG]: vnc display does not update
I can connect to a hvm machine with Windows and latest pv drivers installed via vnc. During the boot process vnc updates. After Windows switches the screen resolution the first time, the the vnc content no longer updates. If I reconnect vnc however, it shows the updated content (which remains frozen - I can only get a static image via vnc). I tried this with different vnc viewers such as ultravnc and tightvnc. Current configuration: xen-system-amd64:4.6.0-1+nmu2 from the debian repositories VNC with worked fine with xen 4.4 until recently - so this problem occurred with the update to 4.6 . Is this a known problem? Any help is appreciated. :-) Best, John ############# guest config ############### name = "name" memory=8192 vcpus = 4 builder = "hvm" boot = "c" on_poweroff = "destroy" on_reboot = "restart" on_crash = "restart" usbdevice = "tablet" vnc = 1 vncdisplay = 8 # VNC-Display Number vncunused = 0 # VNC try to find an unused port vncconsole = 0 # enable spawning vncviewer for domain's console vnclisten = "some-ip" # address that should be listened on for the VNC server if vnc is set. vncpasswd = "some-password" disk = [ "phy:/dev/zvol/all/vms/name,hda,w" ] vif = [ "mac=some-mac,bridge=xendevel"] keymap='de' pci_msitranslate=1 hpet=1 acpi=1 apic=1 pae=1 stdvga=1 videoram=16 xen_platform_pci=1 _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
