This may be a rather naïve question but up until now I have been controlling Xen VMs on a local basis only. On my Debian system I log in to Dom0 I use the 'xl create <config>' command to start my VMs and then use VNC to connect to them from my Windows box. I want to do a little more with Xen. What would I need for the following fictional scenario; Let's say that I want each member of my family to have a VM. Obviously they don't have direct access to Dom0 on my Debian system (and I don't think it appropriate to give it to them) to use the 'xl create <config>' command. How do they start and connect to their VM from a remote system? Does Xen have something natively installed or do I need to install something like XCP-XAPI or XenServer. I want to do this for some simple basic experimentation and I am looking for a simple solution. I don't need anything elaborate or complicated. I am using Xen 4.2 with Debian 3.4.9 in Dom0. I have a high desire (for complicated reasons) to stay with this version but I could upgrade only if absolutely necessary.
