I've installed Xen 4.2.2 on this hardware with Fedora 18 as the host OS. The relevant output of 'sudo xl dmesg' is:

(XEN)  Intel VT-d iommu 0 supported page sizes: 4kB, 2MB, 1GB.
(XEN)  Intel VT-d Snoop Control enabled.
(XEN)  Intel VT-d Dom0 DMA Passthrough not enabled.
(XEN)  Intel VT-d Queued Invalidation enabled.
(XEN)  Intel VT-d Interrupt Remapping enabled.
(XEN)  Intel VT-d Shared EPT tables enabled.
(XEN)  I/O virtualisation enabled

Does this confirm that the hardware is compatible with Xen with VT-d,
or does 'Dom0 DMA Passthrough' have to be enabled?

In case it is relevant, the output of 'xl info | grep ^virt_caps.*hvm_directio' is:

virt_caps : hvm hvm_directio
