Suggestion: If you try using google, with the search string: "site:lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-users ivrs iommu io-apic hack" (or something similar) then you will find the thread on the xen-users list where this particular issue was being discussed. Someone posted a hack for xen-4.2.2 to work around the bios error ( http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-users/2013-05/msg00579.html ) Note: since this is a hack, and it is basically changing some code which was implemented for a security advisory, it's most likely not going to be supported by anyone and you are responsible for any issues which may occur. Having said that, I have that patch used on one of my systems (Sabertooth 990FX rev 1.0) and its been working well, but this is also my own personal machine behind a firewall.
