You seem to be using xl, the XCP toolstack is xapi and is accessed using
the xe command line tool.

The xen-api@ list is a better place for XCP related questions.

You might find http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/Category:XCP useful as a
starting point for docs.  Also the majority of the XenServer
documentation is useful for XCP too.
