Hello. Any major distribution shipping Xen normally works out-of-the box. Ubuntu is one of them. Whatever your problem is, it's probably not about the right installation CD.On 29 August 2012 10:43, Carlos Roberto de Oliveira Júnior <carlos.roberto@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:I really need to have Xen working, to start virtual machines on the server and perform experiments. Can you, please, give me a linux cd installation that has already setup Xen on the dom0 correctly? If possible, you can give me a link and I download it. Gave up waiting for root device. Common problems: - Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline) - Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?) - Check root= (did the system wait for the right device?) - Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev) ALERT! /dev/sda does not exist. Dropping to a shell (ash) Does this appear in your Dom0 (host system) or in DomU (guest VM)? Did it worked fine in any moment? Stopped to work after you did what? -- Alexandre Kouznetsov _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
