[Xen-users] xen / xencenter - no mouse or keyboard on HVM, PVM works?

I am using xencenter to connect to my ubuntu 12.04 xen box

If i create a PVM with a template, everything works great

if i create a HVM with the custom template, the console does not respond to keyboard or mouse clicks?

any ideas what could be the problem?
