This is interesting, because with my pci passthrough i only get USB1.1 speed which is about 1,5MB/s max (i actually get 0,9MB/s).. so this is a huge difference your results.. May i ask what kernel and xen you are using and if you are doing something unusual or different to the common way? I actually have a usb3 controller too, but i would like to keep it to the dom0 because i'm doing my server backups through it..
