I've set dom0_mem=1024M
If I try to start XEN on my laptop, which has 8GB of RAM, I get:
MemTotal:         819316 kB <---- which is approximately 0.78GByte !!!
MemFree:          662416 kB <------ o.0 ???

And this is OK:

As you can see, my 8GB of RAM have disappeared.
