Eh, no.
I wasn't aware that Silverlight did have such requirements.
(And didn't realize that my ancient T43 laptop had those extensions, as S.L. 
installed there without a hitch)

But I got a new HP-laptop with an I7-cpu. And installed OpenSUSE_12.1 with all 
xen-options/packages enabled.
Only problem I encountered sofar, was the nvidia-nouveau saga, but as Microsoft 
requires full virtualization, I assumed that would not be an issue....

Silverlight requires some form of MMX instructions present in the cpu. Have you 
modified any cpuid= to report a processor that is too old?

I encountered this when testing migration between an AMD and an Intel 
processor... the "lowest common featureset" between the two processors is too 
low to support the required MMX instructions for silverlight.
