[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-users] Initialising != Connected, skipping
Hello,
Here is my problem with Xen : every thing works just fine until I need
to shutdown or reboot the dom0, but then xenstored fails to stop.
The init process continues without problem until :
Halting system...
xenbus_dev_shutdown: backend/console/5/0: Initialising != Connected, skipping
At this point, the system hangs, it doesn't reboot or poweroff.
Strange thing : if, instead of switching to runlevel 0 or runlevel 6,
I do "by hand" all the processes in these runlevels (that is :
/etc/init.d/xenconsoled stop
/etc/init.d/xendomains stop
/etc/init.d/smartd stop
and so on ...)
then the machine switch off or reboot nicely (still with a warning
from xenstored, which fails to stop).
I have not been able to fix this problem, or even to find its cause.
Can anyone point me to the right direction ?
The system is :
CentOS-6.2
xen-4.1.2-2.el6.x86_64 *
kernel-2.6.32-131.21.1.el6.xendom0.x86_64 *
kernel-2.6.32-220.7.1.el6.x86_64
* from http://xenbits.xen.org/people/mayoung/
Thanks,
