Potentially silly question, but is sysrq support enabled? I had to enable kernel.sysrq in /etc/sysctl.conf before my Fedora 16-based dom0 would respond to anything. Not sure if Debian has it enabled by default though. (And then I did a xm sysrq 0 e, which you should never ever ever do, but that's a different story.) - Kyle On Fri, Dec 16, 2011 at 6:19 PM, svenvan svenvan <svenvan.van@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Hi, > Anyone was able to invoke sysrq over serial console for dom0? > > my grub configuration: > > title Xen 4.0.1 / Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.32.47 > root (hd0,0) > kernel /boot/xen-4.0.1.gz dom0_mem=1024M loglvl=all > guest_loglvl=all com1=38400,8n1 console=com1 > module /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32.47 > root=UUID=5563bc26-6e98-4768-abee-5ca053e2795c ro nomodeset max_loop=255 > console=hvc0 earlyprintk=xen nomodeset > module /boot/initrd.img-2.6.32.47 > > tried with minicom and screen. I can send break but then sysrq does not > work. Maybe something related to hvc0? > Any hints would be really appreciated > Thanks > > _______________________________________________ > Xen-users mailing list > Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
