I tried to attach a disk using 'xm block-attach' to a Windows guest without GPL-PV driver. 'xm block-attach' succeed, and also can see the disk by 'xm block-list'. But I cannot see it in device manager in Windows guest. So i'm wondering that if 'xm block-attach' support hvm guest such as windows guest.
If I remember well it is supported but you need to install GPL-PV drivers or xentools if using XCP.
Thanks in advance for any helps.
