Hello, I'm having troubles running vms under a squeeze 64bits+xen 4.0.1 hypervisor in NAT mode. My main problem is a recently created vm for SQL is slow 20/40 mins after boot, whereas hypervisor and the existing web vm are working fine. I also tried to create new DomU with various vcpu/ram amount, they always become slow 20/40 mins after boot. Charge level : - Hypervisor : about 1% cpu and 10% ram - Web vm : 10% cpu 15% ram - SQL vm : 1% cpu 5% ram My setup is the following : Hypervisor (Nat adress : 10.0.0.128): - Dell r210 : Xeon L3426 + 2*2To Raid 1+ 16Gb DDR3 ECC - XM infos : http://pastebin.com/QBqRiwqe - ifconfig : http://pastebin.com/NbZi9mp0 - iptable/firewall : http://pastebin.com/EcnviBmf - route : http://pastebin.com/Jc7sZiA3 - ip forwarding already set to 1 - hypervisor can ping SQL normaly : http://pastebin.com/Q0gkTJKY Web vm (working very well, local address : 10.0.0.3) : - Debian squeeze 64bits - 1 vcpu, 2Gb ram - uname : Linux sql 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 #1 SMP Wed Jan 12 05:46:49 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux SQL vm (very laggy, local address 10.0.0.5) : - Debian squeeze 64bits - 2 vcpu, 1Gb ram - sql.conf : http://pastebin.com/EJHNQQPs - ifconfig : http://pastebin.com/GsiB8iN6 - route + resolv.conf : http://pastebin.com/mUNFzDPT - uname : Linux sql 2.6.32-5-xen-amd64 #1 SMP Wed Jan 12 05:46:49 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux - dmesg : http://pastebin.com/RBJgthrK - various log files pieces, mainly about kernel messages : http://pastebin.com/471rGcaZ I also noticed stranges I/O speed test results on SQL : http://pastebin.com/w6bbhZhh Thanks for your help ! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
