What gives you the idea that Ganeti is old? It is still in both active
use and active development, with various features in the planning pipeline.

It does, however, not provide a graphical or web UI, but that is by
design. If desired, one could write graphical/web frontend for either
the Ganeti commandline interface or the RAPI (Remote API) of Ganeti.
