Tried commenting out the networking interface but still having the
same symptoms. One thing I hadn't mentioned before is sometimes rather
than getting a BSOD I get a black screen with all CPU cores using
100%. These domUs all have 4 cores allocated, so spin up to 400%
according to xentop.

I've also added the viridian=1 which doesn't seem to have made any
difference either from my initial tests. An example of my config file
