Hmm. I found the place where something wrong happened by using bash debug mode. Add " -x" to the 1st line of network-bridge script. There is something written "#!/bin/bash". Then you will see a lot of debug output next boot. For my problem at one place in the script "sigerr" was returned by one command/function and incorrectly used as gateway ip address.
