Other companies have solved this with technology partnerships. Red Hat chose to acquire an underdog instead. We'll see in a few years how that works out for them. I wonder about the fallout of this in CentOS land. We run RHEL everywhere but CentOS for the hypervisors because of RHEL's Xen restrictions (that whole "advanced platform" thing). Where is CentOS going to take this? Here's to hoping they continue to support Xen.
