Here it hangs immediately after: Initializing cgroup subsys net_clsI think this is around the point where it probes what CPUs are available and what their features are. I should point out we haven't had any problem with Win 2k8 R2 Web on Xen 3.2 on other hardware. We're running it in a couple of DomU's on a Supermicro 6025B-URB with a pair of Xen E5420's. Could there be some feature of the E5520 CPUs that is being exposed to DomU's but that shouldn't be? I tried Xen 3.4.2 downloaded directly from xen.org.
