Hi, check the BIOS settings, virtualization functions are DISABLED by DEFAULT on many motherborads. :) Also, there's the check from running Linux system $ cat /proc/cpuinfo | grep vmx (in case of Intel VT-D) Regards Matej ________________________________________ From: xen-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [xen-users-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of James Hankins [jim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 19 November 2009 22:44 To: xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [Xen-users] HVM Support Greetings, I have recently built two machines both with Intel VT technology CPU's but when I try to create a hvm guest I get an error that the host doesn't support it. Is there a compatibility guide I can consult on whether perhaps my motherboards are either not compliant or perhaps need a bios or jumper setting adjusted to enable hardware virtualization support? Thanks.
