[Xen-users] very simple installation problem of hypervisor

I downloaded a tar ball from http://www.xen.org/products/xen_source.html
the first one in the list I guess does not have the linux-2.6.18
placed it in /usr/src
then cd /usr/src
 tar -xzvf xen-3.4.2
 cd xen-3.4.2
and then read the README given there
it said to have the documentation do a
I got a message on running the following command by the time I am
mailing it here on the mailing list it still exists
it has taken more than 30 minutes
root@tapas-laptop:/usr/src/xen-3.4.2# make -C docs
make: Entering directory `/usr/src/xen-3.4.2/docs'
latex src/user.tex >/dev/null

is it normal or i am getting some error or the above step is not required
