Dear Velten, Below is the link to a Intel DP55KG motherboard review by motherboards.org. This link shows the BIOS screenshot of DP55KG. http://www.motherboards.org/imageview.html?i=/images/reviews/motherboards/1948_p5_13.jpg As you can see in the image, there is the line that says: Intel VT for Directed I/O (VT-d). But there's no option for you to enable or disable the feature. I am wondering if you must enable Intel VT *first* before you can enable or disable VT-d. To enable VT, you need to have a processor that supports VT. The P55 chipset definitely supports VT-d. I don't think Intel put VT-d line in the BIOS for fun. -- Mr. Teo En Ming (Zhang Enming) Dip(Mechatronics) BEng(Hons)(Mechanical Engineering) Alma Maters: (1) Singapore Polytechnic (2) National University of Singapore My Primary Blog: http://teo-en-ming-aka-zhang-enming.blogspot.com My Secondary Blog: http://enmingteo.wordpress.com My Youtube videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/enmingteo Email: space.time.universe@xxxxxxxxx MSN: teoenming@xxxxxxxxxxx Mobile Phone (SingTel): +65-9648-9798 Mobile Phone (Starhub Prepaid): +65-8369-2618 Age: 31 (as at 30 Oct 2009) Height: 1.78 meters Race: Chinese Dialect: Hokkien Street: Bedok Reservoir Road Country: Singapore 2009/11/2 Mr. Teo En Ming (Zhang Enming) <space.time.universe@xxxxxxxxx> P55 chipset boards use the new Socket LGA1156.
