The difference is that the xenified patches are forward-ports of the old 2.6.18 Xenlinux code (ported by Novell/Suse). Xenlinux code/patches won't be accepted into upstream linux, it's too intrusive. While jeremy's tree is re-write for upstream Linux pvops framework, and is aimed for upstream inclusion.
