This is not a crash.

My system boots and I'm able to run 1 domU.  Anything after that, gives me
the hotplug issue. If I shutdown the started domU, I'm not able to boot it
again, or any other domU. 

Going back to 2.6.18-xen fixes the issue.

I did have a problem with kernel crashes, but it turned out to be ACH (or
what ever the letters are) mode of my sata card.

I've simular Problems all Trees crashes on build or startup.
