Changing HAL is somewhat tricky though, so I'd suggest you try a fresh install first with cpus=1, pae=0, acpi=0, apic=0. If that works then you can modify your current domU. As a side note, I don't know of any Windows PV driver for Windows 2000, so I/O performance (both network and disk) would be somewhat dissappointing on that OS. Depending on your needs, that might or might not be acceptable. For higher I/O performance, you might want to try : - using Windows 2003, plus GPLPV, or - upgrade to Xen 3.3, and see if stubdom can help.
