I have installed Xen 3.3.1 starting from source code (normal installation process make world; make install; and then created a initrd image). When dom0 starts everything seems fine after starting xend I have brctl show bridge name bridge id STP enabled interfaces eth0 8000.0008540d4330 no peth0 pan0 8000.000000000000 no Then I use the following configuration file to create a VM kernel="/usr/lib/xen/boot/hvmloader" builder='hvm' device_model='/usr/lib64/xen/bin/qemu-dm' memory=1024 name="gpxe" vif=[ 'type=ioemu, bridge=eth0, model=rtl8139' ] disk= [ 'file:/scratch/HVM/xenguest.img,hda,w', 'phy:/dev/cdrom,hdc:cdrom,r' ] boot='dc' vfb= [ 'type=vnc,vnclisten=0.0.0.0,vncunused=1' ] When domU starts though, it tries to get an IP address through the DHCP but I do not see any packet going on the network, it is like packets are being discarded between the domU's virtual NIC and the real NIC (as, again, using tcpdump I do not see any packet going out dom0 NIC) Anything I can check to understand what is going on? Thanks!!!! _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
