Dual-core 2nd generation Opterons (3-digit model numbers) are not
rare. There's an entire line of them for single-socket, dual-socket,
and even 4-socket motherboards. However, none of the 2nd Gen Opterons
support SVM. These use socket 939/940.

All 3rd Gen Opterons support SVM. These all have 4-digit model
numbers. And they use socket AM2/AM2+/AM3.
