Just to test, I loaded up a 2.6.25 dom0 we have and unfortunately, we still see 
all multicast traffic in the domU without requesting it.  a quick look at 
netstat -g shows only the 224.0.0.1 membership.  Kernel has multicast enabled 
of course ;)
