I have never been able to get tap:aio devices running. When I try it in
a Linux PV domain, it says:
XENBUS: Waiting for devices to initialise: 295s...
And they don't work in my GPLPV drivers, which is the problem I am
trying to solve, but I'd like to see them work under Linux first.
Is there anything extra I need to do? I have loaded the xenblktap module
(forgot to do this initially...)
Thanks
James

You need to tell us a bit more about your setup such as DOM0 OS and xen version. I never used to have any luck with tap:aio but I only use Xen 3.3 now and only use tap:aio instead of tap:file which is really nice when you have 30 or more DomUs you don't run out of loop devices.

Some people, when confronted with a problem, think "I know, I'll use Windows." Now they have two problems.
