Hi list, I try to pass a Promise Ultra133 TX2 to a PVM. On the PVM I can see the controller using lspci "06:00.0 Mass storage controller: Promise Technology, Inc. 20269 (rev 02)" But I cannot access /dev/hdaX because dmesg shows "ide: Assuming 66MHz system bus speed for PIO modes PDC20269: IDE controller at PCI slot 0000:06:00.0 PCI: Enabling device 0000:06:00.0 (0000 -> 0003) PDC20269: chipset revision 2 PDC20269: ROM enabled at 0xffffc000 PDC20269: 100% native mode on irq 20 ide0: BM-DMA at 0x1000-0x1007, BIOS settings: hda:pio, hdb:pio ide1: BM-DMA at 0x1008-0x100f, BIOS settings: hdc:pio, hdd:pio Probing IDE interface ide0... hda: SAMSUNG HD300LD, ATA DISK drive PM: Adding info for No Bus:ide0 ide0: Disabled unable to get IRQ 20. ide0: failed to initialize IDE interface Probing IDE interface ide1... pnp: the driver 'ide' has been registered pnp: the driver 'i8042 kbd' has been registered pnp: the driver 'i8042 aux' has been registered pnp: the driver 'i8042 kbd' has been unregistered pnp: the driver 'i8042 aux' has been unregistered"My dom0 has no problems accessing this device, and the domU boots the same kernel and initrd. The Kernel version is the latest stable from xen. Can somebody tell me whats wrong? Thank you and best regards Ralf _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
